Trail Work and Event Second Qtr Report

What does 40+ miles of trail work look like?

     It looks like early mornings, hard work, incredible volunteers, partnerships, a shared commitment to keeping our public trails open, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.
Over the past eight weeks, CCMR has:
    - Cleared and maintained 60+ miles of multi-use trails
    - Completed a 1-mile restoration project on the Sargent's Mesa Summit Trail contracting Flow Farmer to do the machine work.
    - Officially kicked off work on the Marshall Pass Extension, a project funded through a CCMR-administered OHV Trail Grant!

None of this happens alone.
    A huge thank you to Forest Service's Dani Cook, the Colorado Trail Foundation and Flow Farmer for collaborating to make these improvements a reality. The results are already looking incredible, and we're excited to watch these projects continue to take shape.
    At CCMR, we're proud to be a nonprofit motorized trail maintenance organization based in Salida, dedicated to supporting multi-use trails throughout Chaffee County. Every mile cleared and every improvement completed helps ensure these trails remain accessible for OHV riders, hikers, mountain bikers, equestrians, and everyone who loves exploring Colorado's backcountry.
This is what trail stewardship looks like—and we're just getting started.
